He is currently among the top freelancers for HBO, where he has edited segments for "Ring Life," "True Blood," and "The Buzz" and promos for 24/7, Big Love, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bored To Death, In Treatment, Real Time with Bill Maher, Entourage, HBO Boxing and Hard Knocks. He also freelances regularly at IFC, editing a wide range of promos for their shows and movies.
Other noteworthy projects he has edited include a field segment for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jeff Buckley "Grace Live Around The World" DVD, "Stories of Tribeca" 2010 Tribeca Film Festival for AMC News, and the reality TV show "Jobsite" for the History Channel. He has also done color correction for projects such as the hit reality television show, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."
He continues editing unique independent feature films such as, "Taffy Was Born" and "Hook, Line & Sinker" as well as a short film, "Perceptions." Joe's prestigious client list include HBO, NBC, ABC, CBS, MTV, VH-1, USA, Comedy Central, Disney, A&E, TrueTV, ESPN, IFC, AMC & WE.
Joe also has extensive experience and credits as a composer of music for television, which gives him a keen sensibility for sound/music editing, dialogue replacement and audio mixing, as well as an instinct for pacing and timing crucial to project flow. His reputation among industry colleagues is that of an editor who will go the distance for a project, as if it were his own. Joe continues to pursue feature and short films, documentaries, segments and promos, which require a seasoned editor.
Joe studied the art of editing at New York University and The School of Visual Arts, and completed an apprenticeship at Spin Cycle Post, NYC.
